  • Processor: 1GHz Pentium processor or equivalent (Minimum); 2GHz Pentium processor or equivalent (Recommended)
  • RAM: 1 GB (Minimum); 2 GB (Recommended)
  • Hard Disk: 32-bit system: up to 600 MB; 64-bit system: up to 1.5GB; amount of available space may be required for the .NET framework (PayDC software only requires 30 MB of hard-disk space)
  • Internet Connection: High speed / Broadband connection required
  • MS Word 2007 for document capabilities (Office 2007 or Office 2010)
  • Display: 1024 x 768 minimum
  • CD or DVD Drive: Not required
  • Apple/MAC supported through virtualization software such as Parallels, VMWare, or Virtual PC
  • iPad, Android and other mobile devices supported through RDP connection to Windows machine running PayDC


What exactly is PayDC?

PayDC is a subscription-based software system for chiropractors. PayDC represents an entirely new category of system for the chiropractic industry. How do I get PayDC?

Once you subscribe to PayDC, you'll install the software once to your computer(s), then each time you start PayDC it automatically checks to make sure you have the most recent update, then launches for you to get going. If updates are needed, it usually takes less than a minute to complete the entire process. (Our IT team calls this "Web-Based" software.) This way you always have the most up-to-date version!

Can you just send me a CD?
Sorry, that would take both us and you more time than it would be worth. Why wait for a CD when you can install our latest version in just minutes? So, PayDC must be downloaded and installed. Once installed, all required components and updates will be automatically installed so that you will always remain on the most recent and current version of the software.
Note: Data is not stored locally on your computer so you must have a high-speed Internet connection in order to use PayDC.

Will PayDC work with Mac OS?
At the current time PayDC is designed for computers running Windows Operating Systems, however Mac OS can support PayDC through virtualization. Several PayDC Subscribers are currently running PayDC through Windows virtualization on their Mac.

Why does PayDC suggest Windows tablets instead of Mac (iPad)?
PayDC recommends Windows tablets for the following reasons:

  • Security and Compliance (Bitlocker encryption) – built-in hardware and software support to encrypt entire hard drive which is required for applications with patient information (HIPAA Compliance).
  • Runs existing enterprise software – runs existing applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
  • Stylus and handwriting recognition – built-in support for a digital pen to handwrite notes.
  • Device support – support for thousands of USB devices like printers, scanners, mice, keyboards, etc.
  • Microsoft Office
  • Rugged hardware choices available – in many medical environments, special devices are needed that can be sterilized with alcohol.  Many specialty hardware options exist running Windows.
  • Enterprise device management – ability to manage the devices for large offices with existing software.

What about popup blockers?
With PayDC you don't have to worry about popup blockers or other issues typical of web-based applications that run within a web browser.

Can I use dial up or do I need a high speed internet connection?
A high speed Internet connection must be used for best results with PayDC.

How many computers can I load PayDC on?
You can load PayDC on as many computers as you want. However, additional fees may apply based on how many users and/or separate practices you have. Please contact our sales team or review the End User License Agreement for more information.

How many users can I create?
The standard subscription limits your account to two (2) users. Additional users can be added for a fee.

Yes. You should create a separate user account for each staff member and user. For security reasons it is recommended users not share login names and user accounts.

The PayDC Payment Plan functionality allows for a flexible host of options when choosing payment options. Payment options include the following, all of which are customizable to meet your specific practice needs:

What if the client does not have or does not want to leave a credit card or bank account info on file?

Payment Plan functionality allows you to enter different Payment Methods, including Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Check cards, or Cash.

Can I make Care Plan Templates and apply them for each patient?
Yes, the Care Plan Wizard allows you to save any Care Plan you create as a template. This enables users to build a library of the most commonly used Care Plans. When you enter the Care Plan Wizard you have the option of choosing from this Care Plan template library.
